The SBPS Family Success Center moved to a new location in October of 2023. The highly visible new space, located at 11 East 27th Street is conveniently located near the SHS and BMS Campuses and across the street from ReConnect. The SBPS Family Success Center is a one-stop location for students and families who may experience a range of issues that create barriers to school and school attendance. Goals of the Family Success Center include:
- To address chronic absenteeism;
- To work directly with families to identify needs and make connections to resources;
- To work collaboratively with teachers, counselors and principals to support at-risk students;
- To provide homelessness outreach and support for students and families;
- To build relationships through positive community outreach.
